FAQ
-
Q. Is alcohol allowed?
A. Absolutely! We want you to come aboard and enjoy yourself. Just remember that we’re on a boat and we take safety very seriously. Note: No glass on public beaches.
-
Q. Will we see dolphins on our trip?
A. We see dolphins a very high percent of trips, but it’s nature and there are no guarantees. If seeing dolphins is something that is important to you then we can put an emphasis on it.
-
Q. Will I get sea sick?
A. No, we stay in inland waters the entire trip and are never more than a mile away from land. Don’t take seasick prevention medicine, it’ll make you tired and you don’t need it.
-
Q. How can I pay?
A. We accept cash, check, or credit cards. You can also book your trip online with a credit card and have everything handled before showing up for your trip.
-
Q. Is there a cancellation policy?
A. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours of your trip you will be charged a flat fee of $200.
-
Q. Are there age requirements?
A. All ages are welcome! When it comes to babies it’s all in what you’re comfortable with. Please let your captain know prior to the trip if you have small children so they can insure they have the right life vests.
-
Q. What happens if there is inclement weather?
A. If the weather looks bad it’s simple, we don’t go. If it looks like bad weather is coming while we’re on the water, we return to the dock. We don’t want to be out there in crappy weather any more than you do.
-
Q. Is there a bathroom on the boat?
A. Yes. There is a bathroom on the boat.
-
Q. What should I wear?
A. Wear whatever you think you’ll be comfortable in while spending time on the water. It’s always a good idea to have a hat and sunglasses.
-
Q. How many people can go on the boat?
A. We can legally take up to 6 passengers in addition to the captain. Unfortunately, we cannot take anymore than 6 passengers even if they are small children. No dogs allowed.
-
Q. What should I bring?
A. Food, drink, and camera. We have 2 refrigerators on board or you can bring your own cooler. It gets hot out there so be sure you bring plenty of water. Please do not bring spray sunscreen as it stains the boat.
-
Q. What time should we arrive?
A. Five to ten minutes before your departure time is perfect. Your captain will likely be coming from a different location to your pickup location so there’s no point in getting there early.
-
Q. Can we fish while on our boat ride?
A. No. If you’re looking to go fishing, please check out Pensacola Fishing Charters.
-
Q. Should I tip the captain?
A. Any tips given are appreciated. The standard is similar to the restaurant industry at 15% to 20%.
-
Q. Does the boat have cover?
A. The boat has a large hardtop, a forward sunshade, and an aft sun pad for sunbathing.
